Dr. Pouya is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced training in dental implant surgery, full-arch reconstruction, wisdom teeth removal, TMJ care and corrective jaw surgery. He completed his dental education at Harvard School of Dental Medicine before earning his medical degree and finishing a six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center. A board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, he combines surgical precision with a calm, patient-focused approach to complex treatment.

A surgical consult with Dr. Pouya is mostly conversation. Imaging and digital planning come first, so by the time a date is set, the procedure, the sedation options and the recovery have all been explained to you rather than described on the day.
The same care goes into the surgery itself — implant placement and full-arch reconstruction are planned before the first incision. Follow-up is arranged in advance too, so post-operative care is something you already know about instead of something worked out afterward.
