NEW PATIENTS
Your first visit,
start to finish.
What to bring, how long it takes, and what happens in the chair — so nothing about the first appointment is a surprise.
THE FIRST APPOINTMENT
About an hour,
unhurried
A new patient visit covers a full examination of your teeth, gums and bite, digital imaging where it helps, and a conversation about what you want from your smile. If a cleaning is appropriate on the same day, we will do it then.
You will see your own images on the screen beside the chair. We go through what is healthy, what needs attention now, and what can reasonably be watched — including the option to do nothing yet.

WHAT TO BRING
Photo ID
Driver’s licence or any government-issued ID.
Insurance card
We will verify your benefits before treatment is planned.
Medication list
Anything you take regularly, plus known allergies.
Recent X-rays
If you have images from another office, send them ahead and we may not need to retake them.

WHAT HAPPENS
Four steps, in
this order
About an hour in total, and you will know what is happening at every stage of it.
01
Paperwork
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Health history and insurance details, either completed online ahead of time or at the front desk. If you send them in advance, your appointment starts on time rather than fifteen minutes late.
02
Examination
ABOUT TWENTY MINUTES
Teeth, gums, bite and soft tissue, with digital imaging where it helps and an oral cancer screening included as standard. Nothing is drilled, cleaned or treated at this stage.
03
Conversation
HOWEVER LONG IT TAKES
Your own images on the screen beside the chair, the findings in plain language, and every question answered — including what happens if you choose to do nothing for now.
04
The plan
BEFORE YOU LEAVE
Options, sequence and cost in writing, with your insurance already applied. Where it is appropriate, a cleaning happens the same day so the visit is not wasted.

Come in, let us have a look, and we will go from there together.

FAMILIES
One office for the
whole household
Children, teenagers, parents and grandparents are seen in the same practice, often on the same afternoon.

First visits for children
Our pediatric dentist sees children from their first tooth onward, with behavior management and sedation available when a visit needs it.

Teens and aligners
Invisalign and ClearCorrect planned from a digital scan, plus sports guards and wisdom tooth assessment in the same building.

Returning after a while
If it has been years, say so when you book. We start with a look and a plan, not a lecture.
NERVOUS PATIENTS
Tell us before
we start
A lot of our patients arrive uneasy, and it is the most useful thing you can tell the front desk. Knowing in advance changes how we schedule the visit, how much time we leave, and how we talk you through it.
Generous anesthesia, frequent check-ins, and sedation options for longer or more difficult appointments are all normal here. If something is uncomfortable, we stop and adjust.

COST AND COVERAGE
The number before
the treatment
We participate with most major PPO plans and offer six financing options for the work insurance does not cover.

Insurance verified first
Bring your card to the first visit and we will check your benefits before anything is scheduled, so the estimate you get is the estimate you pay.
Insurance & financing

Financing if you need it
CareCredit, Cherry, Sunbit, LendingClub, Alphaeon and Proceed Finance — applied for in a few minutes, often approved the same day.
